The SLAMMO V5 IP67 is an Australian-made, multi-protocol smart LED dimmer designed for constant voltage, common anode LED loads. This version is housed in an IP67-rated plastic enclosure with a clear cover and transparent cable glands, suitable for environments requiring high ingress protection. Performance & Electrical • Load Capacity: Supports a maximum recommended load of 450W @ 24VDC or 300W @ 12VDC in ambient temperatures 40°C. • Channel Limits: Individual outputs should not be loaded with more than 10A to accommodate LED inrush current at start-up. • Voltage Range: Operates at 7-48VDC (max 60V DC, with input voltage matched to the requirements of the connected LEDs. • Thermal Management: The device requires a 50mm air gap for movement around the case and must maintain a board temperature at or below 70°C. Control Protocols & Logic • Multi-Protocol Support: Compatible with DALI, DMX512, RDM, and DSI. • Configurable Outputs: Supports multiple output modes via RDM, including RGBW/Normal (4 channels) and White (2 pairs for Tuneable White). • Reverse PWM (Device Invert): A reverse PWM option is available via RDM (Parameter ID 0x8006) for fixtures requiring 0% signal for $100% brightness. • Dimming Resolution: Features selectable logarithmic or linear dimming curves and a 1200Hz dithered PWM mode for an approximated 16-bit curve. • DMX Vector Mode: Increases the refresh rate to 200Hz for smoother fading. Physical Construction & Protection • Enclosure: Plastic housing measuring 268 x 97 x 48 mm (324mm length including glands). • Cable Management: Supplied with four M20 glands for 6-12mm OD circular cables, including reducing seals for 5-9mm cables. • Visual Status: Internal mimic LEDs provide status for Output 1 (Red), 2 (Green), 3 (Blue), and 4 (White). • Fused Protection: Each of the four outputs is protected by a 15A fuse (Littlefuse model 0451015). • Safety Features: Includes immunity from accidental DC input reversal and transient protection for the DMX transceiver and DC input.
