The SLAMMO V5 IP67 DT8 RGBW is an Australian-made, multi-protocol smart LED dimmer designed for constant voltage, common anode LED loads. This version is housed in a high-protection IP67 plastic enclosure featuring a clear cover and transparent cable glands. Performance & Electrical • Load Capacity: Supports a maximum recommended load of 450W @ 24VDC or 300W @ 12VDC in ambient temperatures below 40°C. • Current Limits: No individual channel should exceed 10A to accommodate LED inrush current at start-up. • Voltage Range: Operates between 7-48VDC, with the input voltage matched to the specific requirement of the connected LEDs. • Thermal Requirements: Requires a minimum 50mm air gap for cooling and must maintain a board temperature at or below 70°C. Control Protocols & Output Modes • DALI-2 DT8 RGBW Integration: The device is DALI version 2 compliant and supports Type 8/Type 6 commands, including dimming curve selection (logarithmic or linear) and fast fade facilities. • Multi-Protocol Support: Compatible with DMX512, RDM, and DSI protocols. • Configurable Outputs: Output types are selectable via RDM to suit different fixture types: • RGBW/Normal: 4 individual channels for RGBW (CH 1, 2, 3, and 4). • White (Tuneable): 2 pairs for warm/cool white; Input 1 controls CH 1 and 3 (Warm), while Input 2 controls CH 2 and 4 (Cool). • Reverse PWM (Device Invert): Includes an RDM-selectable option to invert PWM output for fixtures requiring 0% signal for 100% brightness. • High-Resolution Dimming: Features a 1200Hz dithered PWM mode via RDM for an approximated 16-bit curve. Physical Construction & Protection • Enclosure: Dimensions are 268 x 97 x 48 mm; if mounted vertically, all glands must be positioned on the bottom side. • Cable Management: Supplied with four M20 glands for 6-12mm OD circular cables, including reducing seals for 5-9mm cables. • Visual Monitoring: Onboard mimic LEDs provide status for Output 1 (Red), 2 (Green), 3 (Blue), and 4 (White). • Safety & Protection • Short-Circuit Protection: Each output is protected by a 15A fuse (Littlefuse 0451015). • Safety Features: Immune to accidental DC input reversal and protected against transients on the DMX and DC lines
