Description
The eDIDIO Series 10 1D 3X is an Ethernet-enabled, modular DIN-mount lighting controller designed for professional environments requiring simultaneous DALI and DMX512 control. This "1D 3X" configuration supports one DALI output line and three DMX512 universe outputs.
Core Specifications & Connectivity
• Power Requirements: Operates on a 24VDC supply >100mA recommended.
• Network Connectivity: Features a 10/100 Base T Ethernet port with DHCP capabilities and UDP for broadcast discovery.
• Physical Interface: Housed in a 4-pole DIN-mount case 105 x 72 x 88mm featuring "plug and play" rising clamp connectors for efficient installation and maintenance.
• Integrated I/O: Provides 12 digital inputs for potential-free contacts (such as switches or relays). Four of these inputs can be user-configured as optically isolated outputs7.
Control Capabilities
• DALI Output: Manages one DALI line for up to 64 devices. An external DALI power supply (such as the Control Freak UBi Power - not included) must be present on the line for operation.
• Dual DMX Universes: Provides three DMX512 lines with proper signal conditioning.
• Internal Logic: Supports 32 programmable lists (up to 8,196 total steps) and 10 interrupt-driven schedules for automated control.
• Protocol Translation: Includes a DMX512 to DALI translator for up to 16 channels, allowing DMX triggers to control DALI fixtures.
Engineering & Integration Features
• Open API: Utilises a 'Protocol Buffers'-based API to enable integration with third-party TCP-IP capable systems.
• Spektra Colour Engine (at extra cost): Features built-in colour control for up to 1,024 DMX channels or 128 DALI devices, supporting light types with up to 6 colours (e.g., RGB/A/WW/CW).
• Diagnostics: Equipped with a 128 x 64 pixel OLED display and a 3-button membrane keypad for on-site testing, status monitoring, and DALI device addressing.
• OTA Updates: Firmware can be upgraded over-the-air using the Configurator V2 application.
