Description
The eDIDIO Series 10 4D is an Ethernet-enabled, DIN-mount lighting controller. It has four independent DALI outputs, allowing for the centralised management of up to 256 DALI devices (64 per line) while maintaining strict electrical separation between buses.
Core Technical Specifications
• DALI Control: Supports four independent DALI output lines. Each line requires an external DALI power supply, such as the Control Freak UBi Power.
• Ethernet Connectivity: Features a 10/100 Base T port with DHCP capabilities and multiple open TCP sockets. It utilises a Protocol Buffers-based API for seamless integration with third-party automation systems.
• Power & Protection: Powered by a 24VDC source. The hardware is immune to DC input polarity reversal and includes integrated over-current and transient protection.
• Physical Interface:
o Display: A 128 x 64 pixel Organic LED (OLED) screen provides real-time status for time, temperature, and network connectivity.
o I/O Terminals: Equipped with 12 digital I/O ports. Eight are dedicated inputs for potential-free contacts, and four are software-configurable as optically isolated outputs.
Functional Capabilities
• Automation Engine: Supports 32 internal lists (8,196 total steps) and 10 interrupt-driven schedules for autonomous operation.
• Sensor Integration: Supports up to 10 motion and light sensors per DALI line for daylight harvesting and occupancy control.
• Specialised Modes:
o Spektra Colour Engine: (optional) Advanced control for up to 6 colours per light (e.g., RGB/A/WW/CW) for up to 128 DALI devices.
o Burn-In Timers: Includes two independent timers to prevent dimming on new lamps for a set duration, forcing them to 100% output to ensure longevity.
o BMS Integration: Optional BACnet implementation allows DALI groups to be exposed as native lighting objects to a Building Management System.
