Description
The Hytronik HER1045 is a human-centric LED driver that automates colour temperature and brightness based on environmental conditions. It is primarily intended for commercial, healthcare, and educational environments where lighting needs to adapt to occupancy and natural daylight levels. Overview The system is comprised of three primary components: • HER1045 LED Driver: A 45W constant current (CC) driver featuring two output channels (Cool White and Warm White). It includes a dip-switch for configurable output current ranging from 350mA to 1200mA. • Integrated Sensor (SAM5/DH): A flush-mounted unit combining a microwave occupancy sensor, a photocell for daylight harvesting, and a remote control receiver. • HRC-09 Remote Control: A handset used for initial commissioning (including setting time, date, and latitude) and ongoing user control of scenes and manual overrides. Technical Specifications • Input: 220-240VAC, 50/60Hz with a power factor of 0.95 and >85% efficiency. • Output Control: Each channel supports up to 45W (total combined max 45W) with a ripple current of 3%. • Dimming: Supports both Switch-Dim (Push-DIM) for manual colour tuning/brightness and automatic dimming curves. • Environmental/Safety: IP20 rated, operating temperature of -20°C to +45°C, and built-in protections for short circuit, overload, and thermal cut-out. • Core Functionality • Circadian Rhythm Profiles: Automatically adjusts CCT (recommended range 2700K–6500K) and brightness based on the time of day and geographic latitude to support human biological cycles. • Daylight Harvesting: The integrated photocell measures ambient natural light to dynamically adjust electrical output, maintaining a target lux level while minimising energy consumption. • Occupancy Sensing: Utilises microwave sensor to automate on/off functions based on presence, featuring adjustable hold times and detection ranges. • Manual Overrides: Users can manually adjust settings via push-switches or the remote without permanently disabling the automated circadian algorithm, which resumes after a set period of absence or at midnight.
