Introducing the MEAN WELL KAA-4R4V KNX Dimming Actuator
The MEAN WELL KAA-4R4V dimming actuator is a 4-channel device to dim and switch LED drivers via KNX systems. It has built-in high-quality independent latching relays, which can be used to turn on or off MEAN WELL LED drivers.
To facilitate building planning, the recommended maximum number of LED drivers per channel is published in the data sheet, which can be downloaded by clicking on the below link:

The KNX architecture enables you to easily program the KAA-4R4V actuator through the Engineering Tool Software (ETS). This can be done during planning or use, or manually through the buttons on the front panel of the actuator.
The KAA-4R4V dimming actuator is independently configured, and a green LED on each channel indicates the status of the switch.
The MEAN WELL KAA-4R4V is only 72mm wide, making it easy to install on a 35mm rail inside a distribution board in an KNX application.
In addition to the basic switch function, the KAA-4R4V also has a 0-10V output signal to control any MEAN WELL LED driver with the 3-in1, or 2-in-1 dimming function.
The dimming curve can be adjusted to linear or logarithmic mode, so that the end user enjoys an excellent dimming experience.
This device can also be used with motion sensors in buildings to save energy. The KAA-4R4V is powered via the KNX bus and does not require any additional power supply. As result, the KAA-4R4V achieves both reliability and multi-functionality to meet the various demands of modern building design.
The MEAN WELL KAA-4R4V comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
