The Casambi LED drivers will feature two constant voltage models in the range. The CAS-150-24 is the standard dimmable LED driver, whereas the CAS-150-24-RGBCW is a dimmable LED driver suited for more coloured LED installations.
The RGBCW features five standard channels: three primary red, green, and blue, and two CCT channels, cool and warm white. With this assortment of colour channels, paired with the LED Drivers' PWM dimming protocol, this combination allows for thousands of colour arrangements to match company branding and set the perfect mood for any home, office or retail setting.
The Casambi PWM dimming protocol is rated for 8kHz frequency output, well above the industry standard 2kHz, providing high-quality, flicker-free dimming transitions.
The Casambi LED Drivers feature standard protections, including short circuit and overload protections provided by hiccup mode protocol and over temperature, with a standard shutdown procedure. The CAS-150-24 range also features an IP66 rating, enabling these LED drivers to support outdoor lighting applications with protection from dust and moisture.
Casambi Wireless Mesh
These LED drivers are wirelessly controlled through a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communications protocol, enabling direct control from a user's smart device without the integration of a hub or gateway platform.
The Bluetooth Low Energy protocol is the backbone of the Casambi wireless mesh. This system allows for lighting control commands from the user without the use of additional cords or intermediary communication devices, as each Casambi LED driver is a node that can accept and relay commands to other drivers in the vicinity.
