EMERGENCY LIGHTING LED DRIVERS IN STOCK
Product News

ADM STOCKS Hytronik’s emergency lighting LED drivers.

How Emergency Lighting LED Drivers Work

Under normal conditions, the LED driver powers the emergency LED lights from the mains AC supply. At the same time the LED driver maintains full charge of a NiCd or NiMH battery.

Should the mains power supply fail, the LED driver switches over to the battery and reduces the lux level for a regulation specified minimum length of time.

On restoration of the AC power, the LED driver switches back to powering the emergency LED lightss from the mains power supply and recharges the battery.

Emergency Lighting LED Drivers in Stock

ADM stocks the Hytronik HEM09 series emergency lighting LED drivers.

Hytronik HEM09

The Hytronik HEM09 is an emergency lighting LED driver with a selectable range of current outputs:

  • 350mA
  • 500mA
  • 550mA
  • 700mA
  • 750mA
  • 900mA

The output voltage range is 10 ~ 52V. It can set to provide an emergency power output of 3, 4, 6, or 8W.

It combines 3 functions into one unit: LED driver, emergency power supply, and Sensor-DIM control. A Hytronik tr-level control sensor can be used in conjunction with this LED driver (ordered separately). With this type of sensor the LED driver will give 100% power when motion is detected. After a set hold time the light output will drop to the dimmed level. After a secondary period if no further motion is detected the emergency lighting can by dimmed further or switched off.

The LED light level can also be dimmed via a 1-10V dimmer, or a non-latching momentary wall switch.

Hytronik HEM09H

The HEM09H is similar to the HEM09, but with a higher range of current outputs:

  • 900mA
  • 1050mA
  • 1200mA
  • 1400mA

The output voltage range is 10~33V. But other then that it is functionally identical to the HEM09 above.

Hytronik HEM09H-E

The HEM09H/E is the economical version of the HEM09H, with simplified functionality. It has the same current output options, but has a set emergency power output of 3W.

An external motion sensor (ordered separately) can be used to switch on the light when presence is detected. The light will stay on until motion is no longer detected, after which the light is dimmed to the standby level. The light switches off after the standby time elapses. Set up is simple with the built in DIP switches.
